Getaway Farm Care

Educational Events and Seminars
N-j Ainsle is pleased to present two educational seminars in association with Equi-Health Canada, Equine Guelph and Vetriquinol Canada Inc.  Workshops are great group activities for boarding and lesson barns, Pony Clubs, 4-H, farm care providers, those new to horses and first responders!
EQUINE FIRST AID

Knowing Equine First Aid can save the life of your horse. When minutes count, you need to know how to make the most of every second!

Equi-Health Canada/Equi-Health USA is dedicated to the horse - providing first aid training and to individuals in Canada and the United States in order to give YOU the training, knowledge and materials necessary to provide effective first aid for your equine partners. No experience is necessary - just enthusiasm!

Equi-Health Canada courses provide fun and informative hands-on equine first aid learning supported by a variety of learning methods and materials. You will learn how to prevent - how to prepare - how to react - and how to handle equine emergency situations - from lacerations and punctures to digestive emergencies - while waiting for your vet to arrive.

*It is recommended that each barn/stable/club have at least one person onsite who is certified in equine first aid, and one person onsite who is certified in human first aid*

You'll learn: prevention, pain source identification, saddle fit related to spinal discomfort, vital signs, what your vet needs to know when you call, tendon support, lacerations, puncture wounds, wire cuts, colic, choke, collapse, common hoof injuries and diseases and MORE!  All with experienced instructors in a fun and supportive environment.

If you own a horse - it's not IF.... but WHEN you'll be faced with an emergency.
